It’s one of those weeks, you know the type when you keep leaving the phone on the roof of your car whilst you strap baby in. Or your flip flop snaps whilst your walking daughter to their tutors. Or you forget your child’s school transition zoom meeting, the one you set up because you couldn’t make the actual meeting!

Anyone with me ??!

Once, in the middle of a snowy winter, I wrapped my 2 year old up in a warm coat, hat, mittens, scarf. Popped him in the buggy and went through the snow to nursery. It was FREEZING.
Got to the door and bent down to unbuckle him. That’s when I noticed he had no shoes or socks on. I felt like the worst mum ever.

I'm seeing quite a few threads from MNers who have bern so rushed/exhausted that they have had wardrobe malfunctions. You're far from alone. To make you feel better, here's mine.

A few years ago, it was bucketing down with rain. I was wearing a smart dress, blazer and black hold up stockings for work (all in black, my name isn't AutistGoth for nothing). I knew it would be a bad idea to put my usual smart shoes on to walk to my workplace so I popped my wellies on. It was only when I was almost at my workplace that I realised that I had forgotten to put a pair of spare shoes in my backpack. I had to walk around my workplace all day in my stocking feet! I brazened it out with my colleagues and said "Ah, shoes are so 2013!"

Another one for you.
My cousin and I were visiting someone, we met there. Cousin is self employed, successful business where she’s constantly in people’s homes and meeting people. She had done a long 10 hour shift, been to 6 different houses and had countless meetings.
So we meet up and straight away I can see her white knickers through her black leggings. I asked if she knew the leggings were see through, I ended up taking photos to show her. She was mortified.
The next day we met up again and I asked why she was wearing the same leggings, she wasn’t but they were just as bad. I’ve since ordered her super thick leggings and recommended black knickers 🙈

I feel like that all the time.
I don't think it is like that but it feels like that!

end of school year for us, 14 days to go.
I'm sick of it but still so much to do & remember. urgh
