My DS came over all sophisticated in conversation with neighbours the other day and dropped the word "boogre" into the mix. ("Boogre" is a silly faux-French was of saying "bugger" in our house.)
I was a bit shocked and asked him why he said it in company and he said "Isn't it just a French expression like 'Quelle Domage'?" (which we also say sometimes).
Sorry, this sounds a bit pretentious now I've written it out, but it was hilarious at the time.
Anybody else had any crackers recently?
