New bruising on old blood taking sites

About half an hour ago, 2 small bruises suddenly appeared on my arms (one on each side), both look like the small ones you get from blood taking. Both are also exactly where I have had identical bruises after donating blood, but I haven't in the past 18 months.

Is this just a thing that happens on old blood taking sites, or is it something I should be concerned about? There is no reason at all for them to appear, I'm even wearing short sleeves, so it can't be from sleeves rubbing. I do bruise very easily, but only with a reason normally!

Are you on Warfarin, on any other medication that interacts with blood clotting?
Have you had an Astra Zeneca Covid jab within the last 4 weeks?

No medication of any kind. No Astra, though I did have Pfizer last week.

I get these fairly regularly. It's nothing to worry about but the doctor usually does a blood test to check my iron and fbc etc

As this is new and unexplained bruising and you had your vaccine a week ago I wld advise getting this checked out with a Dr. (I'm a nurse/Covid vaccinator)
