Fun things to do in London!

Hey everyone, I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for fun things to do in London- I'll be meeting up with my friend who I havnt seen since last year for a fun filled day and would love some inspiration! Even good places you could recommend to eat/get afternoon tea etc would be great, thanks! Theatre to watch Hairspray is already on the agenda for the evening :-)

The Wolsey for afternoon tea

Ampersands do a fabulous tea. Round the corner from victoria and albert museum too. Great little location. Alterntively head to the river and maybe get a boat from westminster embankment over to greenwich. Thats good fun, there is also the cable cars over that way.
Chinatown is fun for food, Bar Shu in soho is a good little location and get a seat by the window. Skygardens is fun too.

Crazy golf and cocktails at Swingers
Ping Pong does half price cocktails and dim sum 3-6 on weekdays
For pre theatre dinner, Bancone is nearby and does amazing reasonably priced pasta
Fumo is also lovely, more expensive Italian sharing plates
Fun bars nearby - Blame Gloria, Mr Foggs, The Rooftop St James

How much time will you have, instead of afternoon tea would you like a pre theatre meal

london in the sky looks like great fun. Although you need to not be scared of heights, food and drinks for a height

Omg! London in the sky

We booked a trip with Thames rockets one time (after an exam, figured it would be good for either celebration or getting them out of feeling sad if they didn’t pass). Was fantastic fun, and very exhilarating.

Mr Foggs gin parlour is rather nice for cocktails. Scalinis is lovely for food, I think the quirky place (and staff) is part of the charm.

Science museum is always fascinating, as is the British museum.
