Covid Jab - swollen lymph node in neck?

QuestionableMouse · 30/06/2021 14:25

Had my first jab an hour ago and apart from feeling kinda wiped out I feel fine, apart from a sore lymph node in my neck. It is a listed side effect but I'm curious if anyone else had it and how long it lasted? Also not sure if I should get checked over? (I have health anxiety so it's a Big Thing 😣)

Thank you!

I had the same in my armpit, was sore but went away after 3-4 days

It's just under my jaw but it tends to react whenever I get a cold or such.

It says in the booklet you get after that swollen lymph nodes are a rare side effect. I think it’s 10 days you give it then speak to the doctor if it’s still not better. Try not to worry I’m sure you will be totally fine x

I had the same after my first jab, took probably a good week for it to go down completely. Had no problems after my second.

Thanks! Feels okay atm, so hopefully it'll settle and not do its usual of swelling 🙄😁🤞
