Friend would like a hen night which we are arranging for her. She has said she would prefer one of our famous ' nights in' rather than night out. And that is fine but we are trying to think of ways of making it different to a usual night in, and would appreciate some ideas.
We are a fun loving bunch aged late 40s - late 50s.
We will have cocktails & canapés and a 3 course meal. I think we are ok for ideas for food and drink but any extra special hen party ideas appreciated.
We'll do a couple of things like give her a sash & tiara, and a hen party version of stick the tail on the donkey to tip the wink at hen party tackiness.
We have discounted things like having beauty treatments or makeup artist ahead of the meal (not all the group would enjoy that) and a sleep over is out of the question. We'd want our own company, not an entertainer or watching a film.
I think she would be happy with the meal to be honest but we would like a couple of additional things to make it a bit more special. Whether that's ideas for decorations, playlist suggestions, or entertainment that would be appreciated . I have done lots of googling and Pinterest searching but not really seeing anything, hence coming to MN so I can explain what I am after. Thanks!
