I'm 49 years old and was diagnosed with endo at around 27 after donating my eggs. I had a hysterectomy at age 38 but they left one ovary. I started getting menopause symptoms around 44 and about 6 months ago I started on 1mg of HRT. Things changed dramatically, the best of which is my sex drive, I feel like a 20 year old again.....it's been life changing.
The last couple of weeks though I've noticed intermittent pain either side of my pelvis, very similar to period pain after sex and if I have a full bladder. The last 3 days, the pain has increased and is constant, and now including my lower.
Could this be reactivation of endometriosis?
I'm so scared to talk to the GP in case he ceases the HRT.
Thoughts anyone?
