Sore Head - when to call Gp

Had a sore head occasionally (on and off - not constant) since AZ vaccine at start of June. No idea if it’s related. I’ve also been a little stressed. Last Tuesday I woke with a sore neck and a dull sore head. Felt like I had twisted my Neck whilst sleeping. The neck pain has eased but the dull headache is still there. It’s not really painkiller sore it’s just there all the time (top and front mostly to left) and it sometimes gets worse for a little while where I do take painkillers. Just don’t know whether to bother with Gp.

Always worth a call to GP if you're worried

Send them an email. They will get back to you with advice, and will call you if need be.

Have you seen your optician? Sounds strange yes but making sure your eyes are fine is a good first step along with increasing your fluids.

Thanks everyone. I will call Gp tomorrow.

I do wear glasses - I do need an eye test though, it’s been a few years and I think my sight has got worse. I will make an appointment. I’m a water fanatic lol so that’s all good.

After you've tried all the other options, increase fluids, eye test, take OTC pain killers to see if they help.

If you've done all of them then make an appointment.

Also try changing your pillow. It may not be fully supporting your neck and head anymore so may be causing headaches and neck aches.
