Can't find a NHS dentist

I missed my last appointment at my nhs dentist and then covid hit. Since it's been two years, they've taken me off their register.

I've been phoning around but can't find another nhs dentist.

Does any one have experience or advice about using something like Den-plan or similar? I feel a bit clueless!

Thank you.

For the people that say they're in pain.

Please phone 111 they send you to the closest NHS dentist walk in centre and will tell you the list of places accepting NHS patients.
@CupOfTPlease they wouldn't. I did ask.
Did you ask reception though or the PM.

My mum was in exactly the same position. She's been with the same dentist for over 50 years. I wrote a really strong email to them and they reinstated her. It's worth checking with elderly parents as if they are struck off the dentist's list they will really struggle to find a new one.
