And if so, what were queue times and social distancing measures like? My kids have an inset day soon and I thought we might have a trip to Legoland but if queues are horribly slow then we might do something else instead. Does anyone have any up-to-date intel that they can share?

I went two weeks ago on a Thursday. It wasn't too bad at all, I think the longest we waited for a ride was about 10 minutes... The food places were busy, we took a packed lunch.

Just got back! It is getting busier than a month ago. Quite a lot of Scottish families because their holidays have started and also several primary school groups. It wasn't quite at the point where I wished we had done reserve and ride. Queues were between 5min to 30min on the app (and one 60min one which we didn't try). In reality we went through quicker on some of them (and slower in a couple)

We skipped the Lego city coastguard and haunted house because they looked horrendous.

Covid measures are ok but people don't always keep their distance in queue... lots of hand san around, masks in queue and on rides, you go on the rides as household groups except the undersea ride where 2 groups go at opposite ends of the submarine.

Thanks. That's really useful to know. I didn't know that there was an app, so I've installed that. Were all of the rides open @terrywynne?

A couple of rides temporarily closed during the day - either rain or staff break but most were open all day and all of them were open at some point. The splash parks were also open and the live shows were on.

I would probably try and find out if the schools in the local area also have an inset day that day though

This website has live queue times for loads of theme parks, including the UK ones. You can have a look to see what the queues are like on a weekday before you plan to go and can then book if you think they’re ok.
