Where would you sell a pair of sunglasses (quay Australia)?

A family member has bought me a pair of sunglasses for my birthday, they are quay Australia and were £49.

They really don’t suit me but when I suggested returning them and swapping for another pair the family member got offended and said no.

I want to sell them and buy a similar pair that will suit my face better as to me a £50 pair of sunglasses that I will never wear seems like such a waste of money.

My first thought was eBay or Facebook market place, but I’ve had bad experiences on both in the past.

Can anyone with more knowledge recommend where they would sell them?

Id say either of them or maybe just put them in your own Facebook so only people you know will see it and see if anyone’s interested but to be honest I think you’d be lucky to more than £10/£20 for them

That’s disappointing.
They are brand new with the label and tags still in the quay box. I was hoping I’d be able to sell them on for at least 75-80% of the value since it’s a popular brand.

I only use Facebook for work so don’t have any ‘personal’ contacts as friends so I couldn’t really advertise them to people I know.

Can you take back to shop and exchange? (Not refund as no receipt)

We don’t have a store anywhere near us so I don’t think that is possible.
she definitely bought them online though, she gift wrapped them in the shipping box.

Ive already tried contacting quay to ask if I could swap them for something else but they said the only option is for the person who bought them to return them, they were the ones who suggested I try to sell them on if I couldn’t get the delivery receipt from my relative, which doesn’t seem likely.
