Does anyone know if Ikea are replacing Malm with Kullen?

I've been trying unsuccessfully for weeks to order some new bog standard white malm chests of drawers, they are constantly out of stock. Looking again today and i see they have a similar looking product called Kullen - fewer shape and size options and slightly cheaper. Has anyone seen these in real life? Are Malm a thing of the past?

Kullen have been round for years, it’s a cheaper malm. Highly doubt they will get rid of malm it’s very popular.

Not from the outside, but the runners are plastic so I can’t see them lasting as long, although they never used to be so must of changed them recently.
If you want something to last a good while then I’d go with the malm.
Mine is just temporary till I get my new wardrobes! X

Yes I can't see it improving any time soon either. I just don't have the budget to go much beyond ikea!
