Wedding outfit for baby

My baby girl will be 5 months old when we get married and I’m trying to find a nice ivory outfit for her. There are lots of frilly little dresses out there but as she won’t be walking or even maybe sitting yet and will be being passed around I think a dress wouldn’t be comfortable or practical for her so was thinking some kind of romper. Can anyone help me find one? I haven’t had much luck so far finding one that is special enough.

Have you tried Next.

I did. Thank you for the suggestion- they do have some lovely outfits but nothing in just plain ivory. I do like this one but wouldn’t want the flowers:

We got our dd's dresses and a romper for ds from TKMAXX. Always have posh 'occasion' outfits cheap!! Dd's dresses were £12 each!!

It's white not ivory..but what about a little romper suit?
Maybe you could get one made?

Try a handmade children's clothing company.

Thank you for the suggestions! Does anyone have a handmade children’s company they can recommend? I do love the 3rd John Lewis suggestion but sadly it only comes in pink! The others seem a bit more geared towards boys or are patterned.

You might need two outfits in case a disaster befalls the first one. So I wouldn't go too expensive.

Have a look at Cachet Kids, they have rompers for special occasions

My DD had an outfit that was in 2 pieces, big knickers that came to the knee and a little smock dress that came up shorter than a dress, sort of a two piece romper. It was really comfy. I don’t know if anywhere has something like that, DD is 29 next week so can’t remember where it was from!

Crolisd · 29/06/2021 16:26

@villainousbroodmare yes I can imagine I might need 2 (at least!)

Just remembered ds's romper had a popper that wasn't working. Had to superglue it on to ds!!
Make sure you try whatever you do buy well before the day incase of such a disaster!

Ah you you are all fabulous! Thank you. I like the mamas and papas one but concerned it might be too cold for her to be sleeveless
