Exercises to trim tummy fat

I don’t exercise as a rule so these need to be basic exercises please Grin

I have a bit of a tummy formed on me now. In fact, I actually look a few months pregnant when I’m really not.

I’m not over weight. I’m only a size 8/10. I just have a bump on my belly

What exercises can I do to try and tone the belly up please

Unfortunately you can’t get rid of targeted fat.

You need combination of cardio or HIIT and strength training. Food is also very, very important. I hate exercise and have no motivation to do it myself so I’ve joined a gym but only do spin classes and reformer Pilates. The spin is my cardio and the Pilates helps with core and strength.

Ah crap. Not what I wanted to hear

I can’t get to a gym. I don’t drive and I live in the middle of nowhere. I was sort of hoping for some exercises I can do at home

Thank you though

These youtubers have body weight at home workouts. For a bit of strength you can use water bottles or tins

Kettlebell workouts are good or anything that focuses on your core.

Make sure you know how to engage your core abdominal muscles and maintain a good form otherwise it's kind of pointless.

I'm a PT and can suggest literally anything that is a cardio workout. Putting on music and dancing for 30 mins is amazing, or If you like exercise class-type stuff, there's loads of apps these days. We could get scientific about the exact best moves, workouts etc but really getting moving and working up a sweat whether it's skipping, exercise trampoline, dancing in your front room, whatever ..that's what you need. Do it every day and eat healthy and you'll see results.
