Danny Strong (Buffy) liked one of my tweets. It was a tweet praising him and he’s not super famous so it’s not exactly surprising that he saw it and liked it but still made my day!

This is what I love about social media. I’ve chatted with Jenny Colgan over Twitter. Comedians Aatif Nawaz and Eshaan Akbar chat to me on insta - they’ve been on the telly! People who have been on the telly know who I am. It amazes me, especially as I’ve never met a celeb in real life.

I got a reply back from Nigella once celebrating the arrival of my new oven three days before Christmas once ..

And when I tweeted Jamie Oliver a picture of my burns treated bandaged hand ( I was making his tarte tatin , when I had a brain fart and took the metal handelled pan out of the oven and forgot to use a mitt. Burned across the middle of all 4 fingers , the inside of my thumb and lost the skin off my palm - FUCK ME that hurt )

He sent me back a signed book and a pair of oven gloves 😀

Aaron Carter follows me too! I dunno if it’s some sort of randomly generated thing. Britney Spears followed me for a bit years ago but I always assumed it was just some random thing, rather than Britney actively thinking “yeah this random girl with 152 followers and 10 tweets seems fun”.

I don’t know if they’re still doing it but for a while Jedward were randomly DMing followers and it was not just random stuff, they’d actually look at your profile and personalise it. They DM’d me “night night to you and your cat” but like I say I don’t tweet much so she was long dead, I didn’t like to say…

Sheridan Smith once laughed at DH when I’d tweeted that he’d walked into the corner of the sofa because he was watching her on tv and not where he was going. That amused me
DH has also had a full on row with Alan Davies over football.

Tyne Daly and Elijah Wood were probably my most fan girly moments though.

It was ! It took a moment for the burning to start , but once it did , it really did ! What was worse was I had a small child behind me , so it wasn’t as it I could fling it away from me and let it spatter everywhere, so i hung grimly onto it and put it carefully on the drainer . Then plunged my hand in the sink , wailing . Then drove myself to hospital with my hand in a ziplock bag of iced water sellotaped to my wrist .
