What to make in my new air fryer?

I've got a new air fryer (not a massive super fancy one) and I need some healthy-ish ideas for what to make in it please. My children eat anything and we try to stick to low carb, low processed food. Obvs I'm doing chips and tried bbq chicken pieces tonight which were lovely.

What are your family favourites in the air fryer please?

I love doing seasoned boneless/skinless chicken thighs. Also pitta bread cut up into chips-crisps is lovely with dips.

I do most things in mine, pasta bakes, curry, toad in the hole.
Depends which one you have though, I've got the Ninja so there's no hole in the middle.

My go to easy dinner. Kebabs with chicken, courgette, onions and peppers with Peri Peri marinade brushed over. I put those on the rack with potato wedges or new potatoes on the base brushed with a little bit of oil. Cook potatoes on their own for 5 mins at 200 degrees then add the kebabs and cook for another 10 mins.

Should say I choose everything quite small so it cooks faster. Might need more time if your pieces are bigger.

Choose = chop

Which one did you go for @melonhead ? I've been toying with one for ages

@Gertie75
Will you tell
Me about your ninja please I want one but what can you make on it?

Gertie75 · 28/06/2021 20:16

I've got the 9 in 1 and the xl grill, I really like them both, the food cooks beautifully in them and quicker than a conventional oven, with the 9 in 1 you can use it as a slow cooker and pressure cooker but the grill has the griddle plate and a probe that you put into meat that tells you when it's cooked, I haven't used my oven since I bought them.

If you're on Facebook there are a few groups on there where you can get tips and recipes, keep your eye out for offers though, I only bought the grill last week when it was reduced on Amazon from £249 to £149.

I can't think of anything that you can't cook in them, you can even do rice, pasta and cakes.

It's the muzili 6 in 1 from Amazon - super cheap on prime day. It's got good reviews and I thought it was too much to go straight for the ninja foodie!! It's basically to stop needing to put the oven on as we're in France and it's sooooo hot.
