All inclusive in UK - no restrictions?

Looking at Butlin’s type holiday as think kids would love it. I know the activities, and use of the pool, are all currently restricted and have to be pre booked. Does anyone know if this will all be lifted on 19th July if all measures in England are lifted as planned?

I don't think anyone knows, and I really doubt the restrictions will be lifted in a few weeks, we're at the strat of the third wave.

I booked a hotel with pool for summer and it said phone to book pool. I phoned and they said if restrictions end they won't be doing pool booking so they must have been planning to end them.

Last year we went to a place where you had pre-booked slots for pool and it was much better as we had whole pool to ourselves so they will probably have fun either way, may just need to make sure you book things.

Haven have confirmed there not lifting there restrictions all year and you will need to book for swimming/the club etc.

Hope not, we went at half term and it was so much nicer. Guaranteed seats for shows, table service for drinks. I'd happily pay more for that to continue!

Absolutely. We went to Butlin's last August and it was wonderful. Less people around, could always sit down, no long queues for things, kids activities not crammed with kids, plenty of space in the pool. Sure, we had to book and stick to our schedule, but it was so much less stressful than a normal holiday.

The booking system is brilliant, no need to queue up for anything as you already know in advance that you have a slot/seat. The booking system for our break went live around a week before our holiday start date and we managed to book 2-3 activities per day including two swimming sessions and once on resort they take walk-ins if there are spaces available (e.g., if people don't show up or if they leave the activity/show early) so you can just show up at the door and if there are spaces they'll let you in. I hope they keep some sort of pre-book system going forwards at least for the more popular activities.

That’s very interesting to hear. I haven’t ever done a holiday like this in the UK so it’s a new experience!
