Ideas for teacher/TA gifts?

I'm looking for gift ideas for DC's class teachers? My child has additional needs and the staff (teacher, ALNCO and TAs) have gone above and beyond for him.

I'm reluctant to get alcohol or food related gifts as it's not to everyone's preference and/or possible intolerances etc. But no clue on what to get them.

Any ideas? Cheers! Smile

What’s your budget? I don’t usually get teacher gifts but after all their hard work on zoom I bought DD’s teachers £10 Costa gift cards at Christmas. You can get them on Amazon and they email them directly to the recipient

I usually get gift cards of some description. I have got personalised pen & pencil sets this time, with the teachers name on the box and the pens.

I usually get a plant already in a nice pot. The plant may die but the pot remains and as far as I’m concerned, you can never have enough plant pots!

I say this every year... if the teacher has gone above and beyond, write a nice letter praising them, to SLT.

Either a voucher of some sort (I received a very generous one for a spa day one year, from a parent so grateful for the successful year her SN son had had), along with a heartfelt letter.
Avoid flowers, as you never know if the teacher is about to go away on holiday (even in these Covid times) and won't be able to appreciate them.

I bought beautiful handmade and hand painted mugs for DS teachers from a craft fair. Think I'm going to put some Tea Pig tea with them and a "nice" bar of chocolate.

Thank you everyone. Some great ideas 😊

(I've already planned a lovely email to send to the head as well)
