Lightbulbs?!?!

Can I get a higher wattage than the shade states if I get a LED bulb?

The one that is the correct wattage / lumens is to dark.

I understand the LEF ones don't get hot or something? So you can go as bright as you like. Is this true?

Yes you're ok - I just went and asked my physicist DH to check - no risk to the shade because heat from LEDs is negligible.
