Puppy peed on internal doormat

Just as the title says, my pup has peed on my internal doormat. It's one of the ones that's cut to sit at the same level as your carpet, so not one that I can pick up and chuck.
Does anyone know of anything that would reduce the smell at all?

Thank you!

I use dr beckenmann pet stain and odour remover .

Always the most important thing is to soak up as much as possible. Put down plenty of kitchen paper and something heavy on it for a while. It makes cleaning much easier.

Something like Simple Solution or UrineOff - a pet store will have them. Failing that, a solution of bio washing powder.

Bicarb of soda shaken down to absorb, spray with a solution of water and apple cider vinegar and let dry.
Gets the smell out. I know this as I have an elderly dog who constantly leaks urine so I know how you feel!

Simple Solution here too! But I feel your pain, our puppy did it loads for ages and it drove me mad.

You need an enzyme spray to break down the wee, you can get them from Amazon or pet shops.
