Sunflower care - they're huge! (pic attached)

I just bought some sunflowers and they are huge in comparison to my medium sized vase.

I only cut 1 1/2 inches off them, is this correct?

Well they do look beautiful but sunflowers usually need a large, tall vase!

You just cut as much off as you need to suit your vase - there isn't a prescribed length!

They're gorgeous. Shouldn't they be outside though..

Ah I see @Pootles34. In that case I will trim them down. They look quite majestic though.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider I live in a flat, im unwell and have bought sunflowers to cheer myself up. Case closed!

It wasn't a critic. I genuinely didn't think sunflowers could be indoors.

The sunflowers helped, just didn't look right in the vase. I don't have a bigger vase but will get one. Haven't bought these in years, I love them though

Genuinely confused by! Any cut flower can be indoors? Never had a bouquet?
