Inspired by the lovely chocolate thread....
My friend can't eat chocolate, she also won't eat anything containing gelatine (but isn't vegetarian).
I usually make some peppermint creams, florentines or fudge when she's coming over but would like some new ideas. General suggestions would be appreciated but even better if there are some specific little gems (eg xx from Aldi, yy from Lidl), or links to recipes.
I know sweet treats aren't necessary but we often have her and her DH over with other people who invariably bring chocolate so I like to have something she can enjoy too.
