And how do you deal with a man who cannot deal with women at all but is nice and chummy and matey with other men in the workplace Angry

I have heard men called that yes...I'm not being picky but it's not something only women get called.

With your second issue, I'd speak to my manager about him.

Totally. In fact I think I've heard it more about men, often along side aggressive.

Yes, but mainly when overtly threatening violence or trying to provoke the other individual to become violent (or at least the unspoken threat that it may go that way).

Whereas I have heard it used about women's behaviour that would merely be called 'direct' in a man.
