Luxury gift around £50?

BillyBearSpam · 25/06/2021 15:45

I'm looking for something for a friend, around the £50 mark but could go a little higher...

Not facial skin care or jewellery or a candle. Or food/alcohol.

Looking for something like a leather good, makeup, body care type thing?

Anything that comes with lovely packaging a bonus!

Something from Aspinal of London. Beautiful quality/designs and as they’ve got a sale on atm you’ll be able to get her something really lovely with your budget.

I was going to say a spinal! They've got a cracking sale on so I've stocked up.

Letsgetreadytocrumble · 25/06/2021 17:44

Aromatherapy Associates bath oil - deep relax is my favourite, it's amazing!

Letsgetreadytocrumble · 25/06/2021 17:45

Some Lisa Eldridge makeup - really lovely packaging and great products.
Good shout on spa voucher.

BillyBearSpam · 25/06/2021 18:51

Was going to suggest Aspinal as well. I bought one of the key rings and it arrived this week, in one of their boxes.

Pinkmagic1 · 25/06/2021 19:33

Anything from Ortigia. Lovely body products and beautiful packaging.

BillyBearSpam · 26/06/2021 08:59

Thank you everyone. I have ordered something, I won't post in case she sees it though! Wink

Good thinking!

@CommanderBurnham what did you buy? I’m resisting the sale as I already have plenty of lovely things... 😭😭

CommanderBurnham · 26/06/2021 12:43

I bought the lipstick case and the coin wallet.
Don't pay for gift wrap as it comes in it's original box.

The extra is for a ribbon and a note

Ninkanink · 26/06/2021 12:49

What colour(s) did you get? I’ve got the lipstick case, card wallet and key ring in Bordeaux silk lizard.

Next time a great sale is on I want to get a summer purse, bag hook, and key ring.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 19:44

Just been looking in the sale. I have been given money for a 0 birthday, which I haven't spent yet. By lipstick case, do you mean the small case that is advertised as a make up case, or a specific lippie one? The one I've seen is about 5" x 2". The pale blue one is the sale is calling me....

Ninkanink · 26/06/2021 19:53

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants I think they call it a ‘handbag tidy all’. But it really only fits a lipstick or two, mascara and mini eyeliner. I love mine though - feels very sophisticated. I got it to go in my little Aspinal evening bag.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 20:00

Oh ok. Thanks @Ninkanink. Don't tempt me with the bag though! Grin

Ninkanink · 26/06/2021 20:14

The tidy all is well worth it for £30 imo.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 20:18

I am ? slightly seduced by the price. I have found that pale coloured accessories eventually get a bit grubby, but it's a good way of testing if this is something I really use, then maybe upgrade when it's past its best to a more practical colour. I've been on and seen the bags. Did you get a black one, or the boxy coloured one? Asking for a friend. Sorry to derail @BillyBearSpam Grin

Ninkanink · 26/06/2021 20:34

It’s saffiano leather so it hopefully won’t get grubby too quickly - you should be able to wipe it clean.

Didn’t understand what you meant about black/boxy but my bag is a mini Mayfair in midnight blue lizard, I think it’s called, but they’ve not got that colour anymore. I’m lusting after the micro Lottie at the moment, I love it in the taupe. I’ve also got a midi Mayfair on my wish list, in evergreen or whatever the dark green is called.

CommanderBurnham · 26/06/2021 20:39

I got the gold tidy all. Can't wait to gift it. The money purse/card holder is a small graduation gift for a niece.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 20:43

The gold is nice too @CommanderBurnham. If they are easy to keep clean I might consider that one. I'm off to see your bag Nink.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 20:46

I like the micro lottie. I suspect I would get more use out of the black one, which is in the sale at the moment.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 26/06/2021 20:48

To get back to the original remit for the op, I was eyeing up this credit card holder the other day, but don't have any experience of the brand, but I like that it had lots of pockets, for all my loyalty cards.here

Ninkanink · 26/06/2021 21:01

Sorry OP for massive derailment!

The gold tidy all is very pretty.
