is it aquagenic wrinkling? stressed?

Hi ladies,im all new here! please forgive my grammar..im not based in Engl'and!! just waned to learn some info about aquagenic wrinklin! my son who is 2.5.years old seems to get quite wrinkly when in water,fast..google says cf related..and imterrified..anyones child had somerhing similar but enden up being nothing?? we do have a sweat test in 10 days. Thanx in advance and looking forward for some comments! xx

My children all got wrinkly after swimming or bath time. We didn't take any notice, all are fine as adults.

Hi :) thanx for replying!! We all wrinkle in water..is just thus condition you get wrinkly faster..:( do your children wrinkle easy?

Have you spoken to your doctor about your anxiety? It's perfectly normal to wrinkle in water. If it was CF he would have other symptoms.

How fast?

@SophiesMummySaid sometimes 3 minutes,sometimes 5 . Its not super severe but is there! Just wondering if any of you guys kids wrinkle like that.

@SophiesMummySaid sometimes his fingertips wrinkle with food as well,like with apple or soup.

@tiredanddangerous im about to start therapy sessions cause i got really low from stress about it. Unfortunately i google a lot and i got terrified that he might have it cause some people say that you can get no symptoms but still have it?

I think I have this - my palms go really wrinkly and bobbly when they're wet, and the skin will slough off, but before it does, it feels very itchy and tight.

I don't have CF, to my knowledge - I'm 33, so I think it would have come to light by now.

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor yes!! But supposedly people with cf or cf carriers wrinkle faster and intense..never thought about it..had no idea..i wish id never looked it on google. I would be more calm.

We all wrinkle almost straight away and we're all fine, never gave it a moment's thought.
