Still reeling but will try my best to be coherent.

Last October I received a call from school saying that a classmate had seen a selfie on snapchat of DS smoking a cigarette - I checked his phone and found the evidence along with messages relating to buying a 'Spliff' (he stated that he was just showing off)
Couldn't tell us why he did it but he wasn't allowed out unsupervised and I purchased the Mspy app so that I can monitor everything he does on his phone .
Fast forward to easter time and whilst tidying his room found a hidden tin with a joint (are they still called that?) in it - Again he stated that he didn't know 'why' but said it had been there ages (from the first incident) Gave him the usual lecture, screamed ,cried, told him the dangers, asked if there was anything worrying him ,told him we loved him and needed to keep him safe etc etc...

Yesterday I checked his phone only to discover he'd tried to buy drugs via snap chat - We live in an 'average' area,he goes to an 'average' school and both me and his Father do 'average' jobs .

His Dad has phoned school and spoken to the safeguarding lead as this is beyond anything we have the knowledge to deal with - School were good and said they will discuss with the team today re what support they can put in.
If he was 14 or 15 I could have got he was 'experimenting' But he's 11 and I'm terrified that he wont make his 18th birthday.

Any words of wisdom would be appreciated !
