Period pain tips?

What is this fresh hell?!
I basically feel like I've got norovirus minus the d and v. Cramps all over my stomach and back, feel sick and like I'm going to pass out
Taken dihydrocodiene, naproxen and paracetamol and still relentless pain, sat in front of a fan as it's helping me feel less faint
Any tips? 😭

Sounds like hell! Is there anything else that might be causing your cramps, for example, are you constipated? Are you pregnant? Do you have any diagnosed gastrointestinal problems? I'm assuming your temperature is normal. Over the counter buscopan can help with cramps. If the pain is not easing contact your GP, or 111

Magnesium supplements help massively with cramp

Managed to get some sleep eventually and now the cramps have started again
No gastro issues, 99% sure not pregnant and I have a copper coil

Ended up going to out of hours, they've said just period pain but he wasn't the most.. empathetic doctor
Gave me more naproxen. Still cramping in my stomach and back, off food and I'm so bloated I look like a beach ball. Period seems to have virtually stopped 🤷🏽‍♀️ and I'm only on day 4 (mine are usually 8 days)

OP I have endo and often the naproxen does nothing for me. This morning I was in agony but doing this pose always helps me, the pain actually disappears for a time:

I'll try that! I'm still not convinced it's period pain, I've been having them 26 years and it feels nothing like I've ever had before
