I had a birthday recently and one of the things on my wish list was a necklace from John Lewis. I didn't get it, which didn't surprise me because we don't usually spend much on birthday presents in this family. Anyway today I thought I'd have another look at it and it's only 50% off isn't it So it'll be arriving in a couple of days. Anyone else has a win recently?

I wanted a pair of shoes but they weren't quite right, they had their make on the back and it really stood out. I didn't want to pay for their advertising
A month or so later they bought out a similar pair with the tiniest of make etched on discreetly so I bought them, well happy

I spotted a silk tea dress online which I really wanted for my wedding but could never justify the £1200 price tag. When I looked again a couple of months later it was £650 so I arranged to go to the boutique to have a look as they had one left in my size. When I got there they said it's your lucky day as we've just reduced it again to £425
