My DD is 6 and is starting to feel self conscious. She has hairs on her legs, not extremely hairy but noticeable. She's made a few comments lately about them and has even asked me to shave them. DH shaves his beard etc so she knows about shaving.
I obviously haven't as I just feel she is far too young and have explained to her how normal it is. I shave mine as this is what I prefer but I have stopped to show her that I also have hairy legs etc. But it's breaking my heart listening to her.
Has anyone gone through similar and can offer me some advice? She's my oldest so haven't dealt with this before and thought I had a couple of more years to go. Thanks!
