Getting pregnant

Hi all,
I wrote on here a little while ago about getting pregnant after a miscarriage in December, but didn’t get a period until the March afterwards.
I’m 36 and wondered do you go by trying to conceive from the month you miscarried or from the time your periods began again?
Still trying and doing all things I should, but just doesn’t seem to want to happen yet xx

I always measured it in cycles cause I think that's the most accurate way of looking at it. Like you only have a chance to get pregnant when you've ovulated and that happens once per cycle so makes sense to count cycles rather than months imo.

Hi Kinsters,
Thank you for the reply, I thought cycles were best way too go, I was just trying to figure out as I’m 36 and doctors say to try for 6 months before contacting them, I wondered if I count 6 months from the December or March, but I guess as I didn’t start my periods again until March it would be from then :-).
Hope this makes sense x
