Just wondering if I can dye a leather clog type shoe?
They are a year old and white but look brand new as after I bought them they were abit too white iyswim
They are so comfy so I was wondering if I could dye them? They are leather.
Has anyone done this? TIA

Yes absolutely, Dylon make a shoe dye which you paint on. Might need a few coats to not look streaky and the range of colours is limited but it works.
I have done two pairs successfully.

I’ve used the Dylon leather shoe dye before - I used brown over green boots and they came out amazing. Over white you can choose any other.

I used two or maybe three boxes for knee high boots. I’d get two just in case the first layer is patchy and you don’t have quite enough.

I've dyed brown to black, red to brown, and green to brown, and they've worked really well. I've also used dye on badly scuffed suede and it came out like leather.
If the base colour is very light you can stipple dye on with a sponge for a mottled effect, and/or use a stamp.
Mask off any areas you don't want to dye with masking tape and plastic.

Thankyou! I will order a couple of boxes.
