if you smoke, how many cigarettes do you smoke a day?

not a journalist lol, i smoke myself and am just curious.
i would guess that i smoke about 20-30 roll ups a day, but i roll quite skimp.

I have about half a rollie in the morning with my coffee.

I've basically given up (my body just decided it was a no over the course of a few months), but there's something about that early morning ritual that's never gone away.

When doctors ask me if I'm a smoker I'm never quite sure what to say. 'No' would be lying, but...

Straights and two packs ( so 40 cigs) last me a week or just over so between 4-6 a day

Roll ups (like you, quite frugal) - but it varies from day to day. Monday was 5, 20 yesterday. Days when I'm drinking it could be as high as 30 or as low as 4, depending on what I'm actually doing. It really depends on how busy and distracted I am. I don't smoke away from the house so whilst it's a habit, it's a habit associated with location more so (I find it a lot easier to not smoke when there's social pressure rather than being alone).

5-10 depending on how busy I am. Unless I’m drinking and then about 500

Roll ups, some days I can go without any other day’s I’d say max 10. But usually that is if I’m out, I’m more of a social smoker I suppose.

About 12 roll ups on average. More if stressed. Less if busy (or hanging with my very anti smoking mother) 🤣

Does anyone hide their smoking from others, out of interest? My dad does not know I'm a smoker.

Everyone knows I smoke, I give no shits! Obviously I’m not an idiot about it and always smoke outside and away from people, and won’t if there’s small children/people who despise smoking.

My mum knows I smoke but looks at me disapprovingly so I avoid it. I'm 31 fgs.

both of my parents know i smoke, as do all of my friends/boyfriend, unsure if my extended (grandparents etc) family know but i wouldn’t try to hide it unless my parents told me to (i am only 16 so kind of have to abide by their rules lol!)

Depends if I’m working or at home.
On a work day I’ll have three before I leave, 1 or 2 in the car on the way to work, probably 7 or 8 at work (14 hour shifts) then another on the way home.
Off days, anywhere between 10 and 20. Luckily my DH just brought me back 200 duty free

I don’t know. Never really counted. But, A 50g pack of rolling tobacco lasts me a week

Ha, see this is interesting because when I was 16 I did smoke, both my parents did and it was no big thing. I quit in my early 20s and stopped for 10 years so the shame of telling my dad (I'm NC with my mum) again after I quit, and he did is too much!

I bet he does. To a non smoker the smell is pretty strong.

@RampantIvy I don't think he does. I only smoke outside and don't smoke at all until after he's left (nothing in the morning beforehand) so I don't think it would be obvious..

i can make 30g last me a week if i rly stretch it out! i can’t find 50g in my local shop but i wish i could!
