Anyone else nervously awaiting the green list update?

Anyone want to join me in a day of idle speculation?

We’re booked to do to Gozo (Malta) end of July. All refundable blah blah….just still hoping we might actually make it!

If it doesn’t go green today we are going to cancel and sort something in the U.K. but I’ve got a good feeling….

I have mixed feelings. We have a holiday booked to Majorca mid August with another family, back the day before DS is due back to school.
Great if it turns Green, but no guarantee that it will remain Green until August, so just makes the decision if we should pay the remainder for the villa or walk away with no financial loss somewhat harder.

I know, it’s going to be stressful either way I guess. We have a final deadline 10 days before we are due to fly after which we can’t make changes so I’d hope we know which direction things are going in by then. Meant to fly out on 25th July.

30 days on the villa for us . Its a lot to lose if we get it wrong. Personally I'd just cancel now but DH and the other family are more gung ho.

We are supposed to be in the canaries mid July. I was reluctant to book anywhere but husband persuaded me. We can cancel up until a week before I think. If it stays amber the isolation won't impact work as oh is WFH and I'm on holidays then. I feel very nervous about the whole thing.

We've just been asked to pay our balance for France - £1750. A holiday booked pre-Covid (we were meant to go last summer originally). Doesn't look like it's going to go green sadly!

Italy looks more hopeful which is great as it would mean my sister and her kids could come over here for the summer hols.

Greece for me (booked 2019 and deferred from last year). Honestly I’m hoping it doesn’t go green, we don’t feel right about going and the only way I’ll get money back is if the flights are cancelled.

Got two weeks in Corfu booked from the 8th July. Would like it to be green or for vaccinated people to not have to quarantine .... but we are going even if it's Amber. I need a change of scene desperately.

Well if boris doesn't lift some country's il be going to number 10 with some hair clippers and cutting off that shit hair doo atleast....
I'm desperate for a holiday !!
