I want to know what does happiness means to all of you. Lots of Money ? good life partner ? peace of mind ? Friends ? Wise children ? For me it’s LOVE and peace of mind. Tell me yours.......

I think for me it would be good health ,independence ,no responsibilties ,being slim!

For me it’s not about having anything in particular. More a sense of not lacking anything. I am content and for me content = happy.

I think that’s why some people are not happy, despite seemingly having “everything”. They’re still searching for that elusive “something”. When you’re content with all you have then happiness is just there.

happiness is a transient feeling so not something that can be sustained for long.
aiming to be happy all the time is the wrong mission. nobody can be happy all the time so all the "don't worry, be happy" type messages and toxic positivity are very damaging.

I think trying to be content despite negative circumstances is a better aim. it's much healthier than chasing unobtainable perpetual happiness.

but what makes me happy? all the usual little & big pleasures in life, there are too many to list!
this morning having a green wave all the way to school made me happy for example. it doesn't happen often so was a nice change!😁

Having people who love me (not necessarily in a romantic way, friends and family count hugely), enjoying several happy moments every day, laughing and make others laugh, having a job I enjoy, having an actuive social life, looking back in life and being proud with what I have done and achieved, looking into the future and being excited for what may be coming.
