My skin is awful at the moment, saw this ad for the Boots online Acne Clinic, has anyone tried it?

You can send photos of your skin and they will send you a private prescription for treatment.

My GP isn't particularly helpful so wondered if it was worth trying. I have booked a consultation at Sk:n for next month but since seen some bad reviews.

I havent but Dermatica and Skin+Me do the same, you get your first month for a few pounds.

I've tried both but am sticking with skin+me for now as I've found the consultation more thorough, as well as the dermatologists 6 month plan for my skin (which changes over time and includes gradual doses of tretinoin) and they were very responsive to my email query. Dermatica was fine but I had a reaction to the treatment and didnt want to persevere at the time.

If I don't see a result after that time I'll cancel or request a review.

I know how affecting it can be OP, I hope you find something suitable.

Skin + me has been a game changer for me, I've tried many treatments via GP, who has never really taken me seriously.
I also went for a SK:n consultation who referred me back to the GP!

Thank you both, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. It was £5 for the consultation so I figured I have nothing to lose. Have completed the questionnaire and sent photos.

Thanks for recommending Skin + me so contact them too.
