Boss being a complete bitch after I resigned

Has been childish, rude, spiteful and hod knows what is said behind my back. I’m aware of a few snide emails, nothing too bad but just very unprofessional.

Am relying on the good relationships I have to not get sad about her behaviour but really struggling. Any tips for how to see out three months notice (calling in sick not an option)

Do you have any evidence?

Depending on how bad it is I would either report it to HR or just let it go. In a few months time she will be nothing to you!

That's a shame. I'm handing my notice in tomorrow. Not looking forward to it.

Classicbrunette · 23/06/2021 21:49

do you need her to give you a reference for your next job ?

No I don’t think so as will be sent by HR dept. Assume we get the most basic ones

I’f I stayed, would see through all the way. I don’t have energy tbh though and hope I will just not have to work notice and can be offered gardening

Is exhausting, and sad has gone this way

wonder why she’s gone mad . perhaps she can’t cope with the stress/being without you. have you been replaced yet ? i’d just give her funny looks.

mobear · 23/06/2021 22:15

I got moved to a desk in another department facing a wall! Don’t worry OP, it will be over soon Smile

Maybe! I just hope others see through, I still have good friends there and don’t want to lose them!

@Backstabboss Funnier still, when my friend who was senior to me but junior to my boss asked why I was moved she got moved next to me… we’re both in better jobs now!

Backstabboss · 24/06/2021 07:01

That is funny but awful at same time.

Ithink I’m going to ask fir garden leave and put nastiness behind me.

Good luck in your new job.

mrstea301 · 24/06/2021 07:14

Good luck in your new job! This happened to me in one of my previous jobs - as soon as I handed in my notice m, my boss stopped talking to me, apart from to say things in meetings like "were under so much pressure, we're so busy, but Mrstea301 won't care as she's off to a new job!" Just smiled and nodded my way through it - it was completely obvious to everyone why I was leaving, through her behaviour!! Bint!! She had been completely promoted past her level of competence!

At least you have light at the end of the tunnel and an exit date!!

Backstabboss · 24/06/2021 07:16

Thanks New!

Mrs Tea - very very similar. I hope you never looked back!
