Rebooking driving test after a fail

Hi - anyone got any helpful tips as to how to rebook. We have to wait 10 days before another test but the website seems impenetrable. It doesn't just search for dates where there is a free slot (like the nhs app for getting a vaccine) . Not sure if you have to go through each date individually. The website sadly lacks useful info. Has anyone managed and if so how ? It’s just all a massive pain in the arse. Yet another covid shambles and disgraceful treatment of our youngsters . Thanks

I don't know what it's like now but it was rubbish even before covid - I took my tests in 2019. There are apps available which scan for cancellations but to get notifications you have to get the paid version (which is what I did). 4th time lucky!
