Ideas to send something to mate..

... whose SN 10 year old child is in hospital having just undergone full on, elective but life- improving surgery. A decision in itself that must have been agony to make.

Okay; flowers- but what else can you send online? Chocolates? Brownies? Any other ideas?

It'll be for her, more than the child, at the present.

That's a very nice thought.
There are SO many things available through post now - due to lockdown I imagine and people needing to send gifts that way.
If she's into crafts or beauty, there are loads of options to google.
There are also some really lovely 'wellness/care' type boxes. Buddybox is one I know of that is specially designed to let people know you are thinking of them, but you'd have to see if the tone was appropriate for what you need

I’d advise not flowers. My friend kindly sent some Bloom and wild when I had a miscarriage but they didn’t get delivered on time and were stuck in a van in the heat and arrived quite dead! Not her fault at all but it wasn’t very cheering 😅

I really love Rituauls- they gave a sale on at the moment and they do lovely relaxing oils and candles etc.

We’ve had Brownies through the post and they were nice.

I would also say no to flowers, I was seriously poorly a few years ago and hated receiving them, felt like my funeral! X
