I just had a bad cold a few weeks ago but D's picked up another and I'm stuck in bed feeling really, really Ill.

But now I'm worrying because I had the first dose of Pfizer vaccine on Sunday and I'm 17 weeks pregnant.
I feel like I'm going to spew any minute. I've not been able to do DS' bed time and he doesn't want any one but me to do it. So DH managed to get him into the pram so hopefully he sleeps there and can transfer to cot so I can get a break tonight.
I am worried because my pulse has been crazy fast all day. I can hear my heartbeat in my ears and it's sooo fast. I feel like I'm a step away from going into panic mode and this is not like me at all. I feel a bit like I have the fear from a big night out drinking, if you know what I mean?

So maybe it's a mix of all three but I just wondered if any one is in same situ as me (long shot, I know). I have also hadbsore pains on my tummy. I emailed midwife but she said it sounds high up in my tummy for it to be a problem but if I have spotting etc to go in to be checked. I've not had any of that and I know this is the time for pains because my uterus is stretching.

I cannot breathe through my nose at all. I've tried everything "safe" and had to resort to a sudafed nasal spray once last night and once tonight as my face is so sore.

Do you think I need to worry? Or is it just maybe symptoms of vaccine plus cold and a bit of pregnancy stiff thrown in there?

Just feeling shitty :(

I had the vaccine, same as you, and caught a cold from my children. I was floored for 2 weeks. GP said it was most likely because my body was busy creating antibodies after the vaccine and so I caught the cold tenfold. No smell, taste, runniest nose.
My sincere sympathies, I feel better now and it's been about 3 weeks since the vaccine.

Oh god. I'm glad you feel better now.
My nose isn't runny at all it is just stuffed up. I cannot get water on to do a nasal rinse or anything it's just so blocked :( that's the worst bit because sleeping at night with mouth open is making my throat sore and lips chapped.

I feel you, I was the same at night.
Someone told me a vicks humidifier might help. I didn't try it personally.
