Tips for decorating a nursery with woodchip walls...

I’ve got 19mo DS and DC2 and would like to make the nursery a bit more nursery-ish- at the moment the walls are blank aside from 1 picture on 1 wall. The problem is that of all the rooms in our home, this is the only one with woodchip walls, which means decals and so on are not an option - I’m not even sure I can use wallpaper without plastering the walls again can I?
If anyone has any suggestions for what I can do to turn what is currently a relatively plain but annoyingly wood chipped room into a lovely little ones’ bedroom I’d love to hear them Grin

It depends what the walls are like under the wood chip, they might be ok if you strip it and use lining paper under wallpaper - but until you try and strip some of its you’ll never know & it might be really crumbly!

I’m facing the same dilemma of stripping wood chip in our lounge, it needs doing but I’m dreading what’s under it!
