Pandora necklace for teen?

Is a Pandora necklace a good gift for a teenagers 18th? I'm out of ideas!

I would buy a nice necklace but not Pandora. You are really paying for the marketing

I bought my sons girlfriend a lovely diamond (silver) necklace from another jeweller for half the cost of a Pandora necklace for her 18th.

I wouldn’t buy Pandora , a necklace is a lovely idea though .

I asked my dd if she wanted a piece of Pandora when she was 17.
Her reply is unprintable

Is Pandora a brand that's popular with teens? They can be very scathing about brands they don't perceive as desirable

I suppose what's naff for one teen can be coveted by the next. She may well love the idea of something from Pandora. What's her personal style?

Jewellery brands that seem trendy with younger people would be Missoma, Daisy London and Astrid and Miyu. Monica Vinader is worth a look too.
