NHS says not clear if safe or not. Another Google result said sudafed is ok.
I need to sleep to get better. I've tried doing nasal rinses which worked so well with my last cold ( 3 weeks ago zzzzz) but my nose is so stuffed up that the water won't even go up and to the other side. I had a crap sleep last night and my lips are chapped from breathing through my mouth.

Do you think I had have a decongestant as a one off?.

I'm 17 weeks too and have the same symptoms but I still have my taste and smell. Its awful isn't it! My DD also is the same but she had a temp so were waiting on test results.. I used a saline spray but it did nothing. Weve had her calpol plug in on during the night but thats it :( mine is all in my head and jaw its just rubbish!

Yes my jaw is aching @Needingsupportpleasebit is awful. That's ashame about your little one too. I do think I got this from my son who still has a cough but his shot has cleared up.
I used saline spray and also did bugger all.
I'm screwing up bits of tissue to make myself sneeze and that is blasting out some crap. I've managed to unclog one nostril for a moment ..woooo

I’m glad you’ve ordered a covid test as I was coming to suggest that ore you saying you had.
If your heart rate is still high then it might be worth giving your midwife or 111 a ring.

I did email midwife who told me to ring triage but I know they won't see me if I say I have covid symptms. Ill give them a call tomorrow just to double check.

If your midwife has told you to ring triage then please don’t ignore actual medical advice. They still get pregnant women in with covid and have the set go to keep you separate. Phone as directed and state you are waiting for a covid test. If they want to see you they will test you themselves and keep you isolated.
