This is the beginning of the end, right?

I hate having to get a new phone. Could really do without the expense and nothing works as it should.

Mine has started doing this too. Sad

Is there an option to get the battery changed?

StealthPolarBear · 21/06/2021 00:13

I think I do usually look at that and it costs more than the phone is worth.
I don't want a new phone. I just want my old one to work forevermore - is that too much to ask??

YANBU

My phone is starting to run down pretty quickly too. Sad

Luckyelephant1 · 21/06/2021 00:16

Guessing it's an iPhone...

PainterInPeril · 21/06/2021 00:30

@StealthPolarBear Is it a Samsung? Their batteries were always rubbish.

Champagneforeveryone · 21/06/2021 00:45

My iPhone X is dying a slow and determined death, I carry a small power bank now if I'm out of the house for too long.

I'm furious as the newer phones don't seem to do that much more for the extra cost, and the money I've saved every month is embarrassing. Previously I was a dedicated phone geek and had a new one every two years, often on the day my contract expired. Now I'm scandalised at the cost, not to mention the sheer waste

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 21/06/2021 00:48

Mines doing the same. I hate new phones and I'm not sure I can remember the passwords for everything

user1745 · 21/06/2021 01:21

Often a factory reset will fix this issue though it's likely to come back in the future. It may buy you a few more months though.

StealthPolarBear · 21/06/2021 06:41

It's a Sony. That's was the first time it's done it so might be a one off
