Have just finished a place of execution by Val Mcdirmid and really enjoyed the plot twisty nature.

I fancy something in the same vein - can anyone recommend?

Best plot twist ever is Fingersmith by Sarah Waters.
Also: We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver

Good plot twists:
Sister - Rosamund Lupton
Before I Go To Sleep - SJ Watson
Gone Girl
No Night is Too Long - Barbara Vine

Gentlemen and players by Joanne Harris

Sister was brilliant but strangely when I tried to read it a second time I had to stop because my optimistic interpretation of the twist first time round disappeared and I felt terrified second time around. Sad.

East of Hounslow by Khurrum Rahman.

The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North.

Always feel that knowing it has a twist ruins it. Teen lit but We were liars I enjoyed, and Little Pink Pill which is an Amazon self published book I think but I enjoyed it .

Thanks all. @Ducksurprise - I know what you mean exactly, especially as I often do see it....

Yes to Fingersmith! I was going to say that one. I gasped out loud at it! And a nice plot twist that is not an unreliable narrator twist.
