John Lewis Sofas

Thinking of buying some new sofas and seen some beautiful ones on the John Lewis website, however they will be about £3000 for the ones I want.

  1. Are they good quality? (never bought from JL before)
  2. Do JL have discount codes
Thanks in advance!

I don't think they tend to have discount codes but a couple of times a year they do have 'special purchase' prices which include the same style of sofa but in a selection of specially priced fabric finishes which are cheaper than the standard finish. We bought our sofas in a deal like this and saved about £500, we've been very happy with them. Time will tell whether they last as well as our previous sofa, but they're comfy and look good.

I have no idea about discount codes but we bought one of their sofas three years ago and it still looks like new. Can't fault it.

Hi op.
I bought my sofas ( leather Thomas Lloyd ones ) from John Lewis around 25 years ago and they're still in excellent condition.
They've survived several house moves, including countries, kids and dogs ( though dogs aren't allowed on them )
They cost over 4k for two sofa's an armchair and a matching footstool, which back then was a small fortune to me, but worth every penny.
I would definitely buy from them again when the time comes to replace them.
