I’m finding Terry Pratchett really hard to read by the way. The sentences don’t flow, like when the author stops mid sentence to shove in another sentence like:
“There was about the seaman – every nerve in Blind Hugh's body, which tended to vibrate in the presence of even a small amount of impure gold at fifty paces, screamed into his brain – the air of one anticipating imminent enrichment.”
I’m finding it hard to keep track of all the names and new characters. It’s hard work! Too hard to become immersed. I’ll keep going though. Only on page 18
I woke up feeling awful, like the tail end of a cold, dehydrated etc must have been a bit poorly. Had morning nap, did play and lunch with baby, who is second napping now. I’m on with the Discworld “Colours of Magic” book. And some chocolate bourbons and tea
