Facebook 6 friends

Does any one know for definite how Facebook decides the 6 friends on your profile? I looked online and it mostly says they pick who you speak to most etc, but none of my top 6 friends I actually speak to or interact with so I just want to reassure my friend that it’s totally random (cheating allegations) thanks

I think it’s the last six you interacted with.

Do you mean the 6 friends whos profiles
appear on your page? Mine is the last 6 people I became friends with in order.

Just looked on my friends page and her top 6 are just mutual friends. One of whom I know she definitely doesn't interact with and never has so if this is what you are concerned about then I hope this reassures you.

Actually I've just realised the top 6 showing when I go on her page is people who I often interact with so it must show people of interest to the person viewing rather than the page owner if that makes sense.

Just looked on my page and the 6 that are shown I dont interact with at all, I'm pretty sure they're the last 6 people I became "friends" with on there.

If I go on someone elses profile it just shows me mutual friends as the 6, possibly in order of who I have the most mutual friends with

Just checked on mine. One is a nail salon, two are people at work that I don't actually interact with, one is a friend I haven't spoken to in ages and only one is someone I interact with regularly .

Mine is totally random. If I look at someone else’s profile and we have 6 mutual friends, usually only one of those appears on the 6, and the other 5 are people I have never heard of. Very bizarre!

Mine are random, and not people I interact with much, but all six are newish additions. They may well be in date order (most recent new friend first).

I've got 9 on mine, a couple are relatives, most are colleagues/ex colleagues, but I'm nearly certain 8 of them I have literally never interacted with on Facebook.

Thanks so do you see someone else’s 6 friends different to how others or they see them?
