Brighton in November

Hi all.

I have been to Brighton before but it was many years ago and was a weekend in spring.

Me and DM are planning a couple of nights away mon-Weds in November and keen for Brighton.
Hoping to do some shopping and go to some nice bars for some drinks.

Will there still be a good atmosphere mid week in November?

And any bar, shop, restaurant etc recommendations will be welcome 🙏

Although it's a costal town, Brighton doesn't suffer from being "dead" out of season.

Brighton is a city, and full of people living, working and playing so yes, there's people shopping and going out there all year round (covid restrictions allowing!)

Fab that’s what I thought but DM was concerned as it was coastal it may be quiet in November.
I used to live in Bournemouth which was never quiet so very much expect Brighton to be similar!

It'll certainly be a lot quieter mid week in November than Saturday night on a hot summer day - but Saturday night on a hot summer day is too busy as half of London seems to appear!

I can't comment on the atmosphere midweek as I rarely get to go out these days! Hopefully others with a more active social life with comment. But the bottom line is, it's a party town.

Brighton’s always lively.
By November, they might also have the ice rink open behind the Pavilion which is quite scenic even if you don’t fancy skating.

Have a look and see what is on at the theatres and Brighton centre for the dates you are going and you can probably see a couple of good shows .

The Ivy in The Lanes is fabulous...I've only had afternoon tea there but it was really lovely and the decor is beautiful
