The first time I got one of these emails I almost wet myself with excitement. And yes £2.80. I wish they'd change the wording to "small prize"

I won £51 last week! Was beyond excited. Plan to spend it tomorrow on my birthday on champagne.

So cruel. I know deep down everytime I get that email it's less than £10 I still can't help but get excited! A little part of me thinks they do it on purpose so that little rush makes u bet a little more.

I think the emails only don't tell you the amount if its a small win and credited to your online account. DH workmate won £42,000 last month and got a Congratulations you've won £42,000 email with a phone number to call and collect the prize.

I had one of those last week and then they don't let you log on for hours! I couldn't sleep so I spent a good few hours fantasy house shopping before I found out I hadn't won enough for a decent door knob! It was fun while it lasted though. Fingers crossed.

I might start playing online. In a way a few hours of dreaming between getting the email and learning the amount is a prize in itself.

I got one of those emails once and it was £98. I was delighted, although in the time it took me to open the email my imagination had settled on a more ambitious sum!

Playing online is definitely the way to go. No losing your ticket in the washing machine and those tantalising emails that tell you you've won something...
