Whatever your partner can cook 😉

Failing that, don't be afraid to buy things pre-prepared/frozen if it means you're eating something half decent.

Things like diced chicken and frozen veg make a decent stir fry or curry with a jar/sachet of sauce and microwave noodles or rice.

Baked potatoes don't take much prep have with beans/cheese/tuna.

Frozen pizza and salad.

Sausage, egg and chips.

Bolognese in the slow cooker - batch and freeze or have over a few nights.

Pasta, pesto, tin of tuna, frozen mixed veg and cheese

Tortillini

Stir fry (example

Omellette/frittata

Roasted salmon with honey and soy (literally just mix honey and soy sauce 50-50 then roast in the oven for 20 mins at 180). Tend to roast some veg to have with itat the same time.

Easy fish and chips (chop potato into wedges and add olive oil. Chuck in oven for 40 mins at 200. Get white fish fillets add some lemon/cumin/garlic/whatever dot with butter and breadcrumbs and bake). Serve with some peas.

'Home made pizza' Fun one to make with toddlers. Either use this no need dough or use a tortilla wrap as the base. Add a little passata top with grated cheese and mozarella and whatever toppings I fancy.

What is your partner cooking for you?

Fajitas, if you buy ready chopped stir fry veg and meat, and the sauces.

Pasta and cheese
Pasta and pesto
Pasta and chopped bacon
Pasta and smoked salmon
Pasta and peas

Jacket potato with cheese and beans/tuna

Hard boil lots of eggs and they can be used with ham/eggs/chips, egg mayo for sandwich or jacket potato fillings.

Cook lots of sausages, one day they can be used with frozen potatoes, peas, carrots and another for sandwiches (or pasta again).

Stir fry - we get the packs of ready prepared veg, noodles, stir fry sauce and then some chicken/pork/beef. It cooks really quickly
We love fajita kits,
Chicken curry made with jar sauce (Our favourite is lloyd grossman balti) we add extra peppers and spinach into the sauce- serve with microwave rice.
Scampi, chips (both from the freezer) and mushy peas.
Pasta, with chopped chorizo which I quickly fry and then add in a jar of pasta sauce. Mix through the cooked pasta and top with grated cheese.
Gnocchi with green or red pesto stirred in and broccoli

Tray bakes are good for a decent meal with minimal effort. Lots of good ideas here
And cheat with ready prepped ingredients like ready chopped veg!
